Moved by the creative and philosophical intentions of the paintings in Caverne du Pont-d’Arc, France, artist Heide Lefebvre brings us a new catalogue of signs and questions drawn from a practice which includes screen printing, drawing and costume making. In doing so she speaks of the vast history of human experience and our need to record ideas and theories. She takes an optimistic focus arguing for the value of art, while acknowledging its impact may be overlooked.
