Featuring 23 artworks created by Australian artists in the period spanning 1956 to 2008, this exhibition celebrates a significant donation by Anna and Richard Green through the Australian Government’s Cultural Gift Program. The presentation traverses a wide range of media and genres, including examples of surrealism and figurative abstraction. Among the many artists represented are Imants Tillers, Euan Mcleod, Rick Amor and James Gleeson (1915-2008), with six works by Gleeson on public view for the first time.
