Imhoff: a life of grain & pixels

This is a retrospective exhibition of material drawn from 56 years of photography and 26 years of film production. Imhoff began his career in Australia around 1970, working across mediums including film and photography to create portraits and iconographic advertising material.

Commissioned photographic works included celebrities and recognisable Australian faces. Imhoff’s images included an array of people from different professions including celebrities, actors, sportspeople, businessmen and politicians. The photographs capture well-planned moments, each conveying a unique story.
