Naidee Changmoh

Thai artist Naidee Changmoh’s whimsical and deceptively simple figures are reminiscent of contented cartoon characters. Working in large-scale unglazed ceramics and paintings, his art reveals a peaceful and contemplative state of mind on the one hand, and a cheeky and quirky one on the other. He takes inspiration from his deeply-felt Buddhist beliefs and from the world of the everyday.

Changmoh’s works can be seen internationally in Buddhist temples, museums and public gardens. Currently a resident at the National Art School Sydney, he has led artists’ residencies and projects in Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, France and his native Thailand.
