Through a diverse collection of paintings and sculpture, this exhibition celebrates the interconnectedness and unique artistic expression of four distinct First Nations artist communities.
Across the Water brings together the vibrant and culturally rich landscapes of the Tiwi Island artists from Munupi Arts and remote Aboriginal art centres on the mainland in Western Australia’s East Kimberley, including the Kira Kiro Artists at Kalumburu and Waringarri Arts in Kununurra; and the Marrawuddi artists in Kakadu in the Northern Territory.
