As an artist collecting from other artists, Greg Daly’s ceramic collection – comprising twelfth century Sung ceramics to eighteenth century lustre work to contemporary pieces – includes varying approaches to the medium, from playing with function and exploring surfaces to the decorative.
Examples of icons past and present include Peter Rushforth, Joan Campbell, Reg Preston, Janet Mansfield, Col Levy, and Shiga Shigeo. With over ninety international and Australian artists represented in the collection, this exhibition is a fascinating cross-section of the ceramic world through the eyes of an artist.
