While the Northern Territory Library, who developed this show, hold around 100,000 historic images of the region in their collection, it’s no secret that social media is an archive of epic proportions. Indeed, 80 million pictures are shared on Instagram each day – but it begs the question, how do we preserve and ‘share’ them with future generations?
In the second iteration of the show, 30 professional and amateur photographers exhibit standout images posted online, depicting Central Australia to the northern coastline.
