Kenny Pittock: Planes, Trains and Bubble’O Bills

Melbourne-based artist Kenny Pittock uses humour and sentimentality in this playful response to contemporary Australian culture and celebration of the mundane. ‘Planes, Trains and Bubble’O Bills’ focuses on ideas around being stuck in one place, and how we keep ourselves mentally active, staying safe and happy, during times when we are unable to be physically mobile: ‘If we can’t get on an actual plane, at least we still have Aeroplane jelly!’

The exhibition features Pittock’s 99 drawings of people on the train alongside a series of ceramic sculptures.
