A series of photographs by Lilli Waters in ‘Others Dream’ at Modern Times presents a captivating showcase of landscape images featuring intimate and powerful representations of women. With each subject posed in a moment of stillness or fluid movement, Waters traces the juxtaposing notions of the power and vulnerability of female identity. Stereotypes of feminine frailty are contradicted as each subject appears to be birthed into, or born from nature; naked yet fearless and empowered.
