The literal and metaphorical lines of lineage, song line and art, that underscore Indigenous culture, narratives and practices are celebrated in ‘Linear’. Marcus Hughes and Jacob Nash showcase artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Maree Clarke, Mikaela Jade, Nicole Monks, Mr Ngallametta Snr, Mr Ngallametta Jnr, Glenda Nicholls, Wayne Quilliam, Lucy Simpson, Bernard Singleton, Lynette Wallworth, and Vicki West. Nash says, ‘These lines hold Linear together, they guide us, teach us and let the objects tell our stories.’
