This exhibition focuses on the complex but intriguing relationship between realism and abstraction in contemporary photography. The artists in this exhibition create work that builds upon a unique language that exists somewhere between photography and painting.
The exhibition features work by Jens Waldenmaier, Gaston Bertin, Anthony Curtis, David Martin, Rita Maas, Scott Faulkner, Penelope Davis, and Paul Snell. Each artist explores the mechanisms of observation through work based on formal abstract qualities such as form, colour and composition.
