Nutter Buzacott Artist: Observations of Life and Landscape

Nutter Buzacott Artist: Observations of Life and Landscape
Lee Dunn
Australian Scholarly Publishing

Take a walk in the shoes of artist Nutter Buzacott (1905-1976) in this richly illustrated publication authored by his daughter Lee Dunn. Buzzacott was interested in everyday goings on and of the working class in particular. He captured life and landscape from the 1920s through to the 1970s, with an output of printmaking, cartoons, illustrations, paintings and graphic art, displayed throughout the book.

Dunn documents the journey of realising his artistic vision as well as the time he spent as a commercial artist, his service in the Australian Army’s Design Division Art Group and his involvement with the Half Dozen Group of Artists, his travels and exhibitions, while also sharing Buzacott’s connections with those who inspired him.
