Ross Manning: Volumes

Brisbane artist Ross Manning is known for his dynamic assemblages, utilising a fusion of low-fi, domestic and high-end technologies. Responding to the specific context of the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA), Manning has created a number of spectacular kinetic light installations for this, his latest, exhibition.

‘Volumes’, commissioned jointly by PICA and the Perth International Arts Festival, is curated by Leigh Robb and sees Manning explore the technical aspect of colour mixing, inspired by Isaac Newton’s Colour Spectrum theory.
