Steph Fuller: Deep Space

‘Deep Space’ is the debut moving-image work by emerging South Australian artist Steph Fuller. The presentation projects a stream of extra-terrestrial scenes inspired by footage from NASA and the International Space Station. Closer inspection reveals an ambiguity to the celestial imagery that conflates the micro with the macro; the mundane with the magnificent. The ethereal vastness of the night sky mingles with the insignificance of dust as Fuller brings her visions of deep space to life using common household objects.
