The ‘38th Alice Prize 2014’ brings a broad selection of high quality Australian contemporary artworks into the heart of Australia for the benefit of the people living in this remote location and for the thousands of visitors who pass through.
Unlike most other art prizes, the Alice Prize is not exclusive to any medium, theme or genre and represents a range of cultures and disciplines. Recent years have seen the expansion of art forms selected for exhibition and this year includes installations, printmaking, photography, painting, video, drawings, 3D artworks and more.
