Perpetual and Sculpture by the Sea have announced the 2025 Helen Lempriere Scholarships, which award a total of $90,000 to support Australian artists as part of Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2025. Designed to further artistic development through study, travel, and the purchase of important new equipment – and support inclusion in Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi –, Angela Valamanesh (SA) received $35,000 as Senior Artist; Ayako Saito (NSW), $30,000 as Mid-Career Artist; and Nicholas Burridge (VIC), $25,000 as Emerging Artist.
