Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre presents two of Australia’s leading visual artists in a cross-cultural feast for the senses: Vivienne Binns and Hossein Valamanesh. Curator Toni Bailey has sourced a variety of artworks for the exhibition that highlight the diversity of the two artists’ practices that span over four decades, across a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture and installation.
Born in Wyong NSW, Vivienne Binns has established herself as a highly respected and astute artist within the Australian artistic landscape. Hailing originally from Iran, and now living and working in Adelaide, Hossein Valamanesh sensitively combines cultural elements from his two countries.
