Dianna Wells: On Edge

Melbourne’s population is set to double in the space of fifty years and the suburban sprawl continues to spread into rural areas. Families and property developers arrive along with new shopping centres, houses and cars – territory markers on roads erasing ancient trees, creeks and grazing land to bitumen forever. With On Edge, Dianna Wells documents the tension point between urban development and the rural landscape.
