If you can’t paint – paint! – Raffaella Torresan
For her latest exhibition, painter, printmaker and photographer Raffaella Torresan presents a selection of oil paintings, which are representations of overcoming the disrupted flow of ‘artist’s block’. Although rarely finding herself blocked for ideas, imagination and creativity, emotions can take a toll and have an effect on the ability to work. Here she conveys this predicament and actions the notion to ‘…work without ideas! Work without there being a reason for what you do. Just copy what’s in front of you, your immediate surroundings. The paints, the bottles, the work materials stacked all around the studio, just make a start!’
