‘Cooking the Books’ is a multidisciplinary exhibition that investigates how capitalist administrative processes can be repositioned as creative operations, becoming measures of soft-resistance owned by the individual. Egerton-Warburton presents this as the culmination of research stemming from his time at the University of Southern California, during which the artist, with six classmates, dropped out in response to the ‘irrational and unethical behaviour of a bloated administration.’
