Abstraction 20

Now in its 18th year, the annual ‘Abstraction’ exhibition at Charles Nodrum Gallery has evolved into a fundamental part of the gallery’s program. Either thematically curated – 1960s hard edge painting, for example – or encompassing a broad range of Australian abstract art, the exhibition series seeks to contribute to the historical narrative of Australian Art, focusing on abstraction from the 1950s to the present. Highlights from ‘Abstraction 20’ include works by David Aspden, Sydney Ball, Robert Jacks, John Peart, Ann Thompson and Angelina Pwerle.
