Renowned director of such internationally successful films as The Crow, Dark City and I Robot, Alex Proyas here shares another side of his incredible talent and creativity in his first Western Australian photographic exhibition. Inspired by the narrative tradition of film noir, Proyas views his photographs as an extension of his films, often dealing in the themes he has explored in his movies. Entitled Fear Not Death’s Shadow, the exhibition explores ideas regarding identity, mortality and the nature of perception.
