Australian Ceramics Triennale 2022

Five days of ceramics, culture, and conference; the Australian Ceramics Triennale brings artists, educators, theorists, and collectors together from around the country to interrogate the field of contemporary ceramic practice in its Northern Territory debut, from 19 to 23 July 2022.

Hosted by Central Craft in conjunction with The Australian Ceramics Association; in 2022, the Triennale, Apmere Mparntwe (this place, Alice Springs), presents a three-day core program of discussions, presentations, workshops, and demonstrations held at the Araluen Cultural Precinct, Alice Springs, geared around the daily themes of Archetype, Alchemy, and Anarchy – featuring Penny Evans, Vipoo Srivilasa, Janet Fieldhouse, Billy Bain, Hermannsburg Potters and Ernabella Arts, to name a few. Complemented by exhibitions, artist camps, studio masterclasses, and a marketplace; a “mug” on a mug fundraiser event, the Maker’s Film Festival, and much more.
