Brendan Scott French – Futures Pass Remains

Human behaviour, character and narrative are the foundations of explorations in Scott French’s work, who’s one of Australia’s most innovative and thought provoking glass artists. His kiln-formed sculptures and wall pieces are carefully layered and assembled to develop pattern and form – this physical process reflecting our proclivity to turn stories of personal and social history into grand, national narratives.

Scott French’s recent work shows his concern for environmental sustainability as well as the social and political commentary we engage in over environmental change, consumerism and resource management.
