The August installment of the ‘Explore Chippendale Free Gallery Walking Tour’ is here, so grab your complimentary wine and take the opportunity to explore Chippendale’s arts precinct.
Convene at Kensington Contemporary this Saturday 6 August at 2pm for an afternoon full of captivating and engaging art. Tour guide and arts curator, Susannah Smith will lead you through the exhibition spaces and arts destinations throughout Chippendale – Kensington Contemporary Galleries, MOP Projects, Galerie Pompom and Tiny Tailor – performing interviews with the artists and gallerists.
The tour is offered courtesy of Chippendale Creative Precinct, a non-profit organisation that aims to celebrate and develop the lifestyle and culture of Chippendale. The Free Gallery Walking Tours are a monthly initiative, instrumental to the transformation of the area into a thriving cultural destination.
Prior to the Walking Tour, join Susannah Smith and Nicky Ginsberg, President of the CCP, and indulge your senses in an eclectic medley of culinary delights and art discussion in a Japanese feast at Kopi-Tiam Spice Alley’s KYO-TO on Kensington Street – $25 between 1-2pm. RSVP essential.
