Data Dreams: Art and AI

Focusing on contemporary concerns – including how algorithms and datasets influence our worldviews, calling our perception of reality into question; relationships between power and technology; and the immense environmental costs of the data economy –, Data Dreams brings together the work of ten artists examining how artificial intelligence transforms the way we create, live, and think. Here, audiences imagine the future . . .  and technologies shaping it.

Artists: Angie Abdilla, Kate Crawford and Vladan Joler, Fabien Giraud, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Christopher Kulendran Thomas, Agnieszka Kurant, Trevor Paglen, Hito Steyerl, and Anicka Yi.
