Bruce Reynolds: How Soon is Now?

How Soon is Now? showcases the evolution of Bruce Reynolds’ practice over a number of decades – from colourful, two-dimensional collages fashioned from repurposed, inlaid linoleum to his contrasting subdued cast relief sculptures – as well as his ongoing interest in the relationships between pattern, history and the built environment. The materials and processes used bridge disciplinary categories and combine the physical with narrative, and image with object.

Here, Reynolds invites consideration of the ancient and the ‘now’ – “since how we see the past reflects how we see ourselves.”
