Bridging the realms of nature and medicine, this exhibition draws on the visual language of medical ultrasound imaging to uncover hidden parallels in the organic world.
The artist – who has a background in medical imaging and experience as a Venezuelan immigrant – blends medical and natural images from an abstract point of view, using painting to illuminate the invisible structures that bind us – such as waves of energy, fleeting traces of life and the echoes of our shared humanity. Just as Lucretius sought to explain the unseen forces shaping existence.
