Kingston also uses clay to create models of pre-war iconic public buildings in three dimensions, as well as landscapes and urban scenes on clay tiles in two dimensions with an emphasis on strong line and flat, even colour.

In Recent Ceramics, included are ceramic reliefs of scenes around the Eastern Suburbs and Balmoral Beach as well as three-dimensional light-up lighthouses and lamps.
