FUSE Festival Autumn 2023 is a contemporary, multi-arts, multi-venue festival presented by the City of Darebin, Victoria, that turns the community into a platform for local artists and performers to highlight their creative talents. The seasonal festival takes place every Autumn and Spring, with its next iteration scheduled this month from 11 to 26 March 2023.
Festival-goers will experience everything from large community celebrations to intimate new experiences in a showcase of music, dance, design, fashion, film, poetry, visual art, and “thingamabobs.” A visual art highlight includes Exquisite Bias by Delia Poon, collaborative, audio-visual portraits exploring unconscious racial bias and cultural identity in contemporary Australia. Have your photograph taken while answering the question, “Where do you come from?” Other events include an interactive 80s prom, and the decomposition of an artist’s former home.
