Gabrielle Adamik: Threads and Traces

Threads of delicate intertwined kiln-fired glasswork weave through space. Some of these fluid-like ropey structures are slumped like a body that would delight in being pulled and stretched back to test gravity. Combined with Gabrielle Adamik’s study of material interactions, the collection suggests different paths to an outcome. The artist’s background in dance flows into the installation refracting the viewer’s movements.
