The Gallery of Modern Art is celebrating a decade of service with several free exhibitions from 3 December, 2016 to 17 April, 2017 including a public artwork by Indigenous artist Judy Watson. ‘Lucent’ will showcase art from Australia and the Pacific, ‘A World View: The Tim Fairfax Gift’ presents a mix of contemporary international artworks acquired with the benefaction of Fairfax, and the 250 works in ‘Sugar Spin’ will satiate our senses with colour, light, spatial and kinetic interventions.
