Hunter’s Hill Councill and the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust in conjunction with major sponsors, will present HarbourSculpture 2013, a contemporary sculpture exhibition and series of community cultural events. In August 2013, the stunning Sydney Harbour bushland and foreshore areas around Woolwich Dock and Clarkes Point will host a series of outdoor and indoor exhibitions, as well as a program of events featuring some of Australia’s best sculptural works.
The first of the series, Outside, will open in Clarkes Point Reserve and Woolwich Dock on Friday August 9, closing on Sunday August 18; and Inside the Deckhouse will run until Tuesday August 13. Viewers will have the opportunity to view and buy spectacular works by emerging artists.
HarbourSculpture are now accepting entries, to be judged by a curatorial panel including Anthony Bond OAM and Dr. Anne Graham.
