Jacqueline Bradley: the tender

Developed during a recent six-month residency at Canberra Glassworks, Jacqueline Bradley’s exhibition the tender explores the transformative, seasonal cycles of growth and decay. Sculptural objects combining the soft and hard mediums of found plant matter, garden detritus, textiles, bronze, and glass, are a provocative visual delight that also engage the senses in scent and tactile sensation. The peach and other stone fruits act as symbolic representations of both human and plant-world flesh.
