Journey to Nowhere | Imants Tillers

Imants Tillers reflects on more than 40 years of art making and his heritage in a new major exhibition of works drawn from public and private collections at the Latvian National Museum of Art, Riga. ‘Journey to Nowhere’ curated by Dr Elita Ansone is on view until 30 September charting Tillers’ practice, known for its postmodernism and connection to global cultures including Indigenous Australia, and the political upheaval Latvia has experienced. The show coincides with the country’s centenary and the inaugural ‘Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art’.
