King & Wood Mallesons First Nations Art Award

The King & Wood Mallesons First Nations Art Award is a biennial competition that supports, showcases, and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art practice in Australia.

Now in its third iteration and held in Brisbane, in partnership with Griffith University Art Museum for the first time, the exhibition includes twenty-eight finalist works – from painting to clay, from honey ant dreamings to superhero stories – by artists living and working across remote, regional, and urban Australia, demonstrating their outstanding contribution to national culture and identity.
