Konstantin Dimopoulos: Mind at the end of its Tether

Konstantin Dimopoulos is a sculptor, installation, performance and social artist whose works are defined by colour, mass, repetition and form. Grounding his practice in sociological and humanist philosophies, Konstantin uses his dynamic and organic work as a way of bringing about change through community interaction and engagement.

‘Mind at the end of its Tether’ is the artist’s latest solo exhibition at Fehily Contemporary. The exhibition will also overlap with Dimopoulos’ public art installation, ‘The Purple Rain’. ‘The Purple Rain’ is an arts intervention that personalises the global issue of homelessness. It seeks to generate greater visibility and empathy through an artistic response and stresses the fact that like the rain this social phenomenon is becoming a downpour.
