Lee Bethel’s new artworks are intricate reminders of the miniatures of nature. In ‘Forage’, Bethel cuts and manipulates paper weaving into her paper assemblages – natural materials sourced from the land. Informed by her arts residency at Hill End, NSW the works reflect an open ended and speculative approach. These quiet confidant works give the viewer an insight into Bethel’s unique view of her surroundings.
