LOCO Project is an initiative that promotes local talent, exhibiting Australian artists online and in mobile pop-up galleries creating networks for collaboration between artists and their supporters.
This November and December, LOCO Project will be exhibiting over 30 artists from Sydney’s inner city and inner west in a new pop-up shipping container gallery/ shop in Glebe.
Exhibited works will include paintings, photography, collages and digital illustration, plus live art each Saturday. Works are also available as prints, t-shirts, cards and skatedecks – perfect for that locally made Christmas gift (Santa, take note!).
Each week a new range of artists will be exhibited, officially launching at 6pm every Wednesday. There will also be complimentary drinks courtesy of Mountain Goat Beer and Brown Brothers to help quench your thirst, with local legends Burger 10 serving up delicious gourmet specials on the night to satisfy your appetite.
Artists Ears, Apeseven, Miriam Cabello, Amy Summer, FOUR, Carmen Hui, Kubi Vasak, Skulk, Michael Katchan, Jamie Preisz are just some of the creatives that will be featured during the exhibition.
The gallery is open daily 10am-9pm from 11 November to 24 December, corner of Glebe Point Road and Francis Street (outside Burger 10). Don’t worry, you can’t miss it! It’s PINK!
LOCO Project is also a part of the Be You Block Party and the beloved annual Glebe Street Fair on Sunday 15 November, 2015.
