Illawarra-based ceramic artist Lynda Draper explores the intersection of dreams and reality; her practice capturing the alchemy and allure of the making process, with works resembling bubble gum, papier-mâché, pearl, wax and paper – evoking the tactile and visual fragility of clay.
Bringing together key bodies of work, this survey exhibition includes loans from major public institutions and private collections. It also debuts new works that incorporate glass and bronze for the first time – offering an in-depth exploration of Draper’s practice and creating a space for contemplation and imagination.
