Making Her Mark: Selected Works from the Collection

TarraWarra Museum of Art presents an exhibition of works by leading women artists from its collection, and, in doing so, reassesses their role in the constructs of art history.

With a selection of works showcased alongside their male counterparts, new comparisons are made concerning imagery, composition and approach, removing the work of women artists from the confines of genre alone, overlooking precedent and influence to recognise their practices as a catalyst. Curated by Victoria Lynn, ‘Making Her Mark’ explores themes such as memory, landscape and abstraction.
