Marijke Loosjes explores the culture of mourning in her latest body of work, ‘NONE OF US ARE GETTING OUT OF HERE ALIVE’; referencing the universal, and grim reality of death and the multifaceted response to this loss – grief.
Through photography, textiles, sculpture, live performance and an interactive installation, Loosjes offers the audience an honest, emotive and cathartic experience, and presents us with the opportunity to reflect on mortality and the processes of healing.
