Nestled between the Roper and Wilton Rivers, below the southern border of Arnhem Land, Urapunga is a small Aboriginal community that has been under the custodianship of the Ngalakgan People since time immemorial. This exhibition represents a visual depiction of this rich and vibrant culture, country and dreaming. From a long lineage of artists and masters in traditional weaving, painting and carving, artists Rhonda Duncan and Margaret Duncan have created a body of work that captures stories of Urapunga, its places, culture and ways of living on Country.
