This exhibition brings together the work of Sydney-based artists Ron Adams, Kate Beckingham, Harriet Body, Lucas Davidson, Hayley Megan French, Carla Liesch, Luke Strevens and Jodie Whalen. Also featured, is the work of Heath Franco, Your Door – an eight-minute DVD featuring the devil, a road worker, a saxophonist and the artist in a very tight leopard print unitard.
Franco is known for his unsettling video works that evoke, through performance personas, a powerful and compelling portrait of suburban life made of absurd and bizarre, yet oddly familiar, characters and settings.
