Shane Jones has been painting realist pictures in the trompe l’oeil (trick the eye) tradition – creating a hyper-real image through techniques such as painting objects with something of a painterly quality themselves.
‘Figments’ brings together an exhibition of picture in this style alongside a suite of portraits, for which Jones is also well known.
