Contemporary Arts Tasmania invite Expressions of Interest from professional contemporary artists and curators year-round. Submissions can be from individuals or groups working in any medium and can be developmental in nature or involve a future body of work. Proposals for works to be presented in the gallery, off-site, online, around the building, or intended to be part of the public program are welcome, alongside those that are experimental, contemporary in concept, and can demonstrate viability. The agency prioritises unrepresented late-career Australian and international artists – early and mid-career artists can apply. fortyfivedownstairs – Exhibition Proposals 2024
Artists, curators and galleries are invited to submit proposals for two and four-week exhibition projects for 2024. fortyfivedownstairs is a leading not for profit contemporary exhibition space in Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000, which shows both emerging and mid-career independent artists. Fremantle Arts Centre – Artist Proposals
Submissions are accepted at any time throughout the year. They are formally assessed twice a year following the deadlines of February 1 and August 1
Fremantle Arts Centre’s (FAC) artistic program is curated by the artistic team in consideration of the overarching vision of FAC and the City of Fremantle, Western Australia. Proposals from individual artists, groups, and organisations across all artforms are welcome for projects within FAC’s building, galleries, grounds, online or site-specific (external to FAC) year-round. Fremantle Arts Centre – Artists in Residence
Fremantle Arts Centre’s (FAC) Artist in Residence program attracts local, national and international artists. Across 11 studios FAC can accommodate a variety of disciplines and project requirements. Residencies can be u1ndertaken for the creation of new works, research, and the development of artistic practice. Particular outcomes are not expected of FAC’s residents. Proposals are considered in relation to FAC’s other programming and studio availability. Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre Exhibition Proposals
Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre, located in Katherine East NT 0850, is calling for proposals from artists who would like to exhibit in KSpace located in the gallery’s foyer, which is suitable for 20 to 30 artworks depending on size. Applications are also sought for the walls in the laneway gallery space that can hold approximately 20 artworks depending on size. All works must be available for purchase. Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery Artist Studio Residency
Emerging and established artists are invited to submit proposals for two to four-week residencies for the development of artistic explorations in any theme and medium at Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery’s Artist in Residence/Project Space, Port Pirie SA 5540. Southern Way McClelland Commission

Expressions of Interest are open to all artists for the $300k Southern Way McClelland Commission, a biennial program to create major new public artworks, displayed on Melbourne’s Peninsula Link Freeway for four years before being installed permanently at McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery, Langwarrin VIC 3910, as part of its significant collection of outdoor sculpture. The 2025 commission will be sited along the Peninsula Link Freeway adjacent to Skye Road bridge near the southbound Langwarrin exit ramp. The selected recipient of the commission will be announced in March 2024, and it is envisaged the work will be completed by September 2025. Three shortlisted artists will be awarded with a $5,000 +GST fee each to develop detailed concept proposals. The winning commission will be chosen on the strength of the artist’s previous work, the conceptual and aesthetic merit of their approach to the opportunity, and their capacity to deliver a project of this scale. Tactile Arts 2024 Artist in Residence Program
Tactile Arts, located on the grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, The Gardens NT 0820, welcomes Expressions of Interest from both emerging and established artists to participate in their 2024 Artist in Residence (AIR) program which supports artists and artisans to develop their practice by providing a dedicated studio space, available for a period of three to six months and open to the public, as well as opportunities for delivering workshops based on their current practice. The residency will culminate in an exhibition of works created during the AIR period; tactilearts.org.au.
Tactile Arts Workshop Proposals
Experienced artists working across a range of art, craft, and design practices are invited to submit expressions of interest to run workshops in all media and disciplines, including ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, weaving, photography, glass, and jewellery, at Tactile Arts Studios located on the grounds of the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, The Gardens NT 0820. Tactile Arts operates a multi-functional arts facility with specialist studios, multi-purpose spaces and a gallery for exhibitions. Their workshop program is designed to engage participants of all skill levels across a diverse range of mediums, from school holiday workshops for children to specialist masterclasses.
