AiRspace Oatlands Artist in Residence
Applications close Friday July 1, 2022
The Southern Midlands Artist in Residence program has been renamed AiRSpace. Formerly located in the old Oatlands Gaoler’s Residence, the AiR program has a new home at 79 High Street, Oatlands TAS 7120. Accommodation consists of a self-contained sandstone cottage and Victorian shopfront, an ideal studio and exhibition space. There is no charge for artists in the residence program, they are instead invited to donate an artwork to the Southern Midlands Council collection, which has been created during the residency. Artists are required to be in the shopfront two days per week to engage with the community. In return, free accommodation and a workspace is available for up to a month; southernmidlands.tas.gov.au/heritage-artist-in-residence.

Alternating Current Art Space
Alternating Current Art Space is a Melbourne-based, artist-run initiative, who create a supportive, inclusive, and accessible environment for contemporary artists and curators to show their work. The space supports and encourages experimentation and creative risk-taking and is located at Windsor VIC 3181. Castaways Sculpture Exhibition

The City of Rockingham is calling for artist entries for the 2022 Castaways Sculpture Awards, which aim to celebrate artistic innovation and environmental awareness. The annual outdoor sculpture exhibition staged along the Rockingham Foreshore in Perth, Western Australia, showcases artworks created from repurposed materials. Castaways provides opportunity for emerging and professional Western Australian artists, schools, and local businesses to be a part of a regionally-recognised arts program that promotes sustainability values. Offering a total prize pool of $26,000 (non-acquisitive), the Castaways Sculpture Awards in 2022 will culminate in the presentation of three exhibitions: The Main Exhibition; and the Schools Competition, which will both be held at the Rockingham Foreshore, while the Maquette and Small Sculpture Exhibition will be displayed at Rockingham Arts Centre, Rockingham WA 6168. ECU Galleries Exhibition Proposals 2023

fortyfivedownstairs – Exhibition Proposals 2022/ 2023

Fremantle Arts Centre – Artists in Residence
Fremantle Arts Centre’s Artist in Residence program attracts local, national and international artists. Across 11 studios FAC can accommodate a variety of disciplines and project requirements. Residencies can be undertaken for the creation of new works, research, and the development of artistic practice. Particular outcomes are not expected of FAC’s residents. Proposals are considered in relation to FAC’s other programming and studio availability. Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre Exhibition Proposals
Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre, located in Katherine East NT 0850, is calling for proposals from artists who would like to exhibit in KSpace located in the gallery’s foyer, which is suitable for 20 to 30 artworks depending on size. Applications are also sought for the walls in the laneway gallery space that can hold approximately 20 artworks depending on size. All works must be available for purchase. Ladder Art Space is calling for exhibition proposals for the 2022 program. Established in 2018, Ladder Art Space, which is situated in Kew VIC 3101, exhibits work by emerging and established contemporary artists and designers working across a diverse range of mediums. Montsalvat Galleries Program
