There will also be entertainment by local bands Djun Djun Jarra and Black Currubians. Traditional Aboriginal dancing by the Yarrabah Dancers. The Menmuny Museum will be open to have a look around AND there will be cultural activities like spear throwing. To top it all off there will be a BBQ and Kup Marrie for lunch that you can purchase for a small price.
UMI Arts is hiring two coaches to bus people over to Yarrabah and back at the end of the day. $20 return per person for the whole “experience” with local Yarrabah residents on board offering commentary! Tickets can be purchased from UMI Arts. Hop on the bus and get driven over and back for the whole “experience”. Places are limited so don’t miss out!
To really show the cultures that are thriving in Yarrabah there will be dance performances throughout the day by Dubi Dancers (primary school troupe), Kunghandji Dancers and the Morning Star Dancers.
