Extreme

“When the environment is pushed to its limits – bushfire, flood, snow and the most untouched pristine wilderness, we experience intense joy, fear and sorrow.” – curator Kylie Eastley.

‘Extreme’ is an exhibition of works in the tradition of masters Peter Dombrovski and Olegas Truchanas by accomplished Tasmanian photographers, who through the lens capture varying degrees of the extremes in the environment. Simply pinned to the gallery walls this collection of photographs reflect on the experiences of these individuals, how they connect with their surrounds and what inspires them.
