Some unconventional guests are checking in to Sydney’s Establishment Hotel from 6 to 9 September. ‘Spring. 1883’ is an art fair that favours intimate and eccentric interiors, releasing contemporary art from the ‘tyranny’ of the white box; founded by Melbourne gallerists Geoff Newton, Neon Parc, Vikki McInnes and Kate Barber of Sarah Scout Presents and art advisor Vasili Kaliman. In addition to the select 24 galleries from the region, New Zealand and New York, viewers will discover performance and installation from Heather B Swann and Eve Armstrong.
