The fifth edition of the boutique art fair, ‘Spring.1883’ opens at the historic Hotel Windsor on 1 August, until 4 August, as part of Melbourne Art Week. It is a contemporary art event without compare. The fair will also host a group exhibition ‘In Bloom’ curated by Madé Spencer-Castle and Jeremy Eaton, a real and pictorial play on the tag of the ‘blossoming’ emerging artist. ‘Spring.1883’ promises interest two-fold as artists show new work and galleries adapt, subvert and enrich the heritage interiors of the hotel.
